Cookie Policy
Last updated 29 July 2026
This policy explains how the Rungard website and cloud dashboard use cookies and browser storage. We use them only to provide requested functions, protect forms, keep you signed in, remember your choices, and hold temporary dashboard state. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
1. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small value a website asks your browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage remains in your browser until it or the site data is cleared. Session storage is limited to the current browser tab and is normally cleared when that tab is closed. These technologies are different, but Swedish electronic-communications rules apply to storing or accessing information on your device.
2. Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Duration and protection |
|---|---|---|
Rungard.Auth |
Keeps you signed in to your Rungard account and links browser requests to the server-side session. | Necessary. Expires after up to 60 minutes without activity and may be renewed while you are active. HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict; Secure in production. |
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* |
Protects login, logout, and other forms against cross-site request-forgery attacks. | Necessary session cookie. HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict. It is normally removed when the browser session ends. |
.AspNetCore.Culture |
Applies the language you selected to server-rendered pages. | Preference session cookie. It is normally removed when the browser session ends. |
3. Local storage
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
theme | Remembers your chosen appearance. | Until you change it or clear site data. |
language | Remembers your language choice. | Until you change it or clear site data. |
cart | Keeps the products and quantities you placed in your shopping cart. | Until checkout, cart clearing, or deletion of site data. |
rungard_currency | Remembers the currency you selected for displayed prices. | Until you change it or clear site data. |
checkout_idempotency_key | Prevents an accidental duplicate order when checkout is submitted or retried. | Until the cart changes, checkout completes, or site data is cleared. |
systemCardOrder | Remembers your chosen order for system dashboard cards. | Until you rearrange it or clear site data. |
4. Session storage
The authenticated dashboard keeps protected, temporary copies of device snapshots in session storage, including system metrics, service and security status, application state, VPN state, and refresh state. This makes navigation more responsive while fresh data is loaded. The values are scoped to your browser tab and are normally removed when the tab is closed. They are not advertising or analytics identifiers.
5. Consent and your choices
The cookies and storage listed above are used because they are necessary to provide a function you requested, protect the service, complete checkout, or remember an explicit choice. We therefore do not display a consent banner. If we introduce optional analytics, advertising, or another non-essential purpose, we will ask for valid consent before using it and provide a way to withdraw that consent as easily as it was given.
You can delete or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Blocking authentication or antiforgery cookies will prevent account login and protected form submissions. Clearing local storage removes saved appearance, language, currency, cart, and checkout state. Closing the tab normally clears dashboard session storage.
6. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if the technologies or purposes change. Questions can be sent to info@rungard.eu or by post to Rungard AB, Kaserngården 3A, 451 34 Uddevalla, Sweden.
Country preference
rungard_country stores the sales country you selected or accepted after automatic detection. It remains until you change it in Settings or clear site data.
