Home Assistant can now be installed from the Rungard application library. The integration is designed for people who want convenient smart-home automation without moving their household data to a third-party cloud service.
Local by default
Home Assistant runs on the Rungard device inside your own network. Automations, device history, and integrations remain under your control.
Simple installation
Rungard handles the container configuration and presents the application through the same lifecycle and health model as other managed applications.
Remote access on your terms
When remote access is enabled, you can reach the application through your configured Rungard connection without exposing the service directly to the public internet.
Managed like every Rungard application
The application page reports lifecycle and readiness separately. A container can be running while Home Assistant is still completing its own startup, and Rungard keeps those states clear instead of showing competing labels.
Application credentials remain outside container labels and presentation data. Backups and upgrades use the same local management boundaries as the rest of the application library.
Before installation
Customers should confirm that the devices they want to connect are supported by Home Assistant and reachable from the same local network. USB radios and specialist adapters may require hardware-specific setup that is not included in this development preview.
